The fuel tank is mounted on aluminum fuel tank posts with rubber grommets and secured by micro clips. The fuel tank mounting is placed on top of the radio plate for easy insertion & removal from the car.
With the smart fuel tank design, the mounting is designed to allow the fuel tank to sit low in the radio plate to lower the weight as much as possible. The fuel is placed right above the low-profile LiPo battery. If larger LiPo or LiFe batteries are used, the included shims and bushings allow vertical repositioning of the fuel tank.
